The erosion of the Green Belt – and the Surrey ‘corridor’

These two images from the Telegraph’s Interactive Green Belt Map show the overall state of the Green Belt around London – and in particular how there is effectively a corridor being carved out from London through Surrey.

First – the view of the Green Belt around London as a whole.

and if we zoom in around Surrey you can see the ‘corridor’ that’s being cleared from Kingston to Woking – this is exactly the area where Three Fields Meaows lies.
